EPIC is a unique organization that combines basketball with a personal growth and development program for our athletes.
Elevate
EPIC has created a unique program that incorporates social-emotional learning, financial literacy and career exploration.
Each practice, players take time off the court to immerse themselves in different life scenarios in which they are given real world situations that challenge them to think critically and problem solve for best case solutions.
These simulations include mock interviews, balancing a personal budget and learning to set SMART goals.
Scholarship
A primary goal of the EPIC program is to inspire an appreciation for lifelong learning. EPIC hosts study tables and players have the opportunity to schedule additional help with a tutor.
Discussions are held with parents and players on requirements and expectations to be a student-athlete at each collegiate level. A college tour is the highlight of the program, as high schoolers get a chance to experience college campus, team practices and games!
Serve
Throughout the season EPIC participates in multiple volunteer outings in the community. The volunteer events give the teams a chance to serve others, which provides our athletes perspective and appreciation for their many blessings.
